Not so long ago, I decided that as a hobby I was going to learn to program apps. That's just the kind of thing I do, pick out a hobby that will allow me to have some fun, learn a new skill, and probably make a bajillion dollars.
Because the thing about my hobbies is I like them to also support themselves; maybe you are okay with paying for your hobbies but I make money off of mine, and that's why I've been reading up on the Mobile Ad Network from Airpush.
Airpush says it's the 2nd largest ad network for Android™ developers right now, with more than 40,000 Android apps using their special ad formats which is great and all but what really interested me was that Airpush says they can get 10-30 times the returns for apps from ads, including "Push Notifications," and something they call "SmartWall."
I don't know what that is, but I like the sound of it, right? And I know people want free apps if they can get them -- so I want to learn to program, but I also want to make money off of something people want to get free, and Airpush seems like the way to combine those two things.
And if you're NOT a programmer? You could still advertise with Airpush -- they can target your ads and give you a reach on a scale you can't imagine, putting your name into 40,000 hands at once!
